Fusion Magazine

As can be divined by reading this highly informative and entertainingly written feature on the history of kids breakfast cereal, The Mad Peck was a solid writer and engaged historian who recognized that the history of popular culture is an integral aspect of understanding the modern world. Published in the early ’70s out of the Northeast, Fusion magazine was a youth-oriented magazine that covered politics and music — not unlike Rolling Stone — and Peck was involved in the production, as well as a contributor of music reviews, cartoons, and other features during the mag’s run. Fusion was also the sponsor of Peck and Les Daniel’s COMIX book.
